The University of Bucharest (Romania) has joined the BACES platform. The University of Bucharest was founded in 1864, and is one of the leading academic centres in Romania. Its goal is to obtain the highest quality of educational services and research possible, by adopting international-grade competitive standards and showing continuous interest in the assurance of quality, interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership, as well as excellence in its activities.

Professor Mircea Dumitru, Rector of the University of Bucharest (UNIBUC) was present at the signing of the joining of the BACES platform, which is coordinated by VUB. BACES was represented Prof Jan Cornelis, VUB’s Pro Vice-Rector Internationalisation.
